A sound investment with low starting prices

We especially recommend buyers to The Cilento region of Campania (just south of Naples and Salerno). It is a landscape of exceptional depth and largely untouched diversity, home to unique ancient Greco-Roman archeological (as well as culinary!) delights.

Moreover, it is filled with gorgeous farmhouses, villas either for investment renovation or immediate habitation.

A large part of the Cilento has been designated a National Park, in recognition of this unique status. If that were not enough, it has also earned the coveted statutes of a UNESCO and MAB (Man & Biosphere) world reserve. It is definitely worth a visit for a vacation.

And if you are thinking of buying a property in Italy there are some tempting opportunities to be found here. Properties in the Cilento are every bit as beautiful (if not more so) than in well known areas such as Tuscany, Umbria and the Amalfi and Sorrento coasts. They are wonderful places to make a new home or start a new venture, but so too is the Cilento, being similar to what Tuscany and other places were several decades ago - yet with the advantage of being largely undiscovered and much more affordable.
